Overtime Pay Law in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania overtime law states that employees must be receive time-and-a-half compensation for hours worked in excess of 40. However, certain employees are exempt from overtime pay under Pennsylvania overtime law. Minimum Wage in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania minimum wage is $7.25 per hour, effective July 24, 2009. Employers with at least 10 full-time workers are subject to Pennsylvania minimum wage law.
