
Workers covered by RSA 279, with the following exceptions, must receive 1.5 times their regular rate for hours worked over 40 in any week:
(a) Any worker employed by a seasonal, amusement, or recreational company if:
(1) it does not operate for more than 7 months in any calendar year; or
(2) during the previous calendar year, its average receipts for any 6 months of that year were not more than 33.3% of its average receipts for the other 6 months of that year.
(b) Any worker of employers subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The current minimum wage in New Hampshire is $7.25 per hour, the same as the federal rate.
