We represent Bank Branch Loan Officers OR BBLO's who worked/work for Chase in their branch locations throughout the country. Although they regularly worked over 40 hours per week, they were never paid any overtime. Instead, they were paid either their non-refundable draw of $2,000.00 per month OR their commissions earned, whichever was greater. We allege that there was a companywide policy whereby they were required to work "branch hours"--typically 9am-6pm M-Fr and 9am-3pm on Saturdays--AND required to attend the morning "huddles" from 8:30-9am. In many instances the BBLO's were working over 50 hours per week. This case follows on the heels of the recent DOL Administrator's Interpretation Letter that said that Mortgage Loan Officers are typically entitled to be paid overtime.
