Boehringer Overtime Lawsuit

If you or someone you know worked as salaried Pharmaceutical Sales Representative ("PSR") for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., during the last three years, a recent court decision may be of interest to you. A Federal Court Judge in the Southern District of Florida has determined that Boehringer PSRs are entitled to overtime pay in weeks in which they worked in excess of 40 hours. The Court decided that Boehringer misclassified its PSR's as "exempt" from overtime when they should have been classified as "non-exempt", and therefore entitled to overtime pay.
